NC Poultry Jubilee
Postponed due to weather
The North Carolina Poultry Jubilee is a two day event: featuring The Castaways, Gary Lowder & Smokin Hot Band, and The Tams. Also, the festival will include arts and crafts, parade, wing cook-off, fireworks, and fried chicken cooked in the world’s largest frying pan.

Duplin Agribusiness Fair
October 19th – 22nd
The Duplin Agribusiness Fair will be October 19th through the 22nd at the Duplin County Events Center. The fair will feature carnival rides, great food, contests, and amazing acts.
The oldest consecutive Veterans Day Parade in America. This year, the 96th consecutive parade will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 2016. The 2016 parade theme will be “Military Law” honoring the men & women dedicated to providing the best legal services to America’s service men, women & their families.
Faison’s Market Day
A celebration of life and commerce in Faison, N.C., an idyllic small town located in the northwest corner of Duplin County, at Exit 355 off Interstate 40. Faison is just a short 45-minute trip from Wilmington and Raleigh. Come enjoy Faison’s Market Day event, which features food and fun for the whole family. This year the event will honor fire & rescue volunteers.
